Why Yaamini started Secto

Yaamini started in security research as an intern at RSA Security, then worked in vulnerability response at Dell Technologies. In both roles, the attacks that worked usually came down to an employee signing in through a browser tab.

Email filters, endpoint agents and network proxies each covered part of the path. Few of them could see what happened inside the tab. Then AI tools arrived, and company data started going into prompts that nobody reviewed.

She founded Secto to secure what happens inside the tab.

Study the attack first
We take apart the kits, lures and extensions attackers use, and publish what we find.
Stay out of the way
Secto installs as an extension through Intune, Jamf or Group Policy. Employees keep working in Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox.
Keep only what security needs
Secto recognizes a work password from a one-way fingerprint. It never stores the password itself.
Tell the employee why
When Secto blocks something, the employee sees a page that explains what happened, and your team gets the alert.
